A Fortec cannot receive Digicipher II. That is the format used by 4DTV.

 |I need help understanding the Lyngsat listing. I have a Fortec "Lifetime
 | Ultra" model.
 |
 | For example, choose "Galaxy 1R" at 133.0 W on www.lyngsat.com .
 |
 | The listing shows the California Channel at 3745 H, and I can get that just
 | fine.
 |
 | But consider 3820 V. It shows three things, "TV Guide", "TV Guide East",
 | and "TV Guide West". The first of these three lists encryption as
 | "Digicipher 2", which means I can't expect to tune that without a
 | subscription. However, the East and West listing have an "F" beside them,
 | which I thought meant "Free". Same thing on 4140 V.
 |
 | I don't fully understand the way each transponder shows multiple programs.
 | Or the role of the "SID-VPID". Similary, I don't understand the audio
 | column. Sometimes the channels I tune have audio, sometimes not.
