Nope. They are the most susceptible to read errors on surface
scratches. The whole reason caddies get used.

The HD DVD and BluTurd formats are likely worse, but there aren't
enough retards like you mishandling them enough to know yet.

The best way to keep one's optical read surface clean is to never
touch it in the first place, and that include not being so fucking
stupid as to place it on a surface.
