It's worth pointing out that if you import and export between Premiere
Pro 1.5 and a TIF, it will automatically expand or compress the video
levels.
So 0 - 255 TIF's compress to 16 - 235 on import and expand back out to
0 - 255 on export. This is NOT what used to happen with Premiere 6.
