My Kobe dvd player is not playing discs any longer .It shows the splash screen
when first you insert a disc but although the disc spins and the display shows
"loading" and the light behind the disc drawer flashes it eventually stops and
the display changes to "no disc" . I've tried various discs which play well in
my other player . I took the cover off and found a small piece of paper jammed
at the back of the drawer and removed that thinking that would solve the problem
but it didn't.
Considering the cost of a replacement it's not worth getting it repaired but is
it likely to be anything that I can do myself to sort it .
I did suspect that havinghad a portable sitting on top of it for a while might
have contributed to the problem
