Thanks, guys. The RF modulator was exactly what I needed. Ended up
going to Home Depot of all places (not much was open here on a Sunday
night) and got one. Hooked it up and it works great. The DVD recorder
is actually recording from the satellite receiver, so quality is really
good. I then took the recording and played on it my DVD player which
is in the living room hooked up to better tv (at least that one has
audio/video hookups). Yeah, the tv is pretty ancient. Hopefully I can
upgrade it in the near future.
