Hi everyone
i am a newbie, so i should state that i spent a good couple hours
searching for an answer before i posted, so if this has been answered a
million times before and i am wasting your time, i sincerely
apologize...
i recently bought a tru-tech tt 320 from target on the advice of a
friend. we took it back to his house and set it up. we did the hack
that allows you to reset the region code, and tested it. it worked. we
watched a little bit of "until the end of the world".
so i took it home, hooked it up to mine, and ordered some region 2
dvds. they started showing up today. you probably already know the
problem...
i put the disc in, and it scrolls, just as if i were vwatching it on a
region 1 locked dvd player. i checked the region setting, and its still
set at 0. i am assuming it is the tv, although i was under the
impression that the dvd player would convert the pal signal to ntsc for
an ntsc player.
is there anyone who has any advice, or is this just a case of having to
buy a new tv?
