Everything you say is correct Eddy. If you share files you are liable to get
prosecuted sooner or later. However how many succesful prosecutions has the
BPI to date completed, I cannot be bothered to google it but would bet that
it less than 100. Hmm there are still masses of file sharers and the chances
of being caught are low. My understanding is that you will get in trouble
for uploading. If you are just downloading then who is to say you are not
just making a backup copy. I found the following link useful:

If you are worried about using p2p either go to your record shop and buy
your music or subscribe for a small amount to a usenet newsprovider where
you can leech all you want, no uploads. Debate on this subject is on the
slyck forums maybe chegg*t out.
