The art files are small graphics that AOL sends to run local off your
hard drive in its various splash screens but their system does not
have a method for telling your system to delete these when they are no
longer relevant.
You can safely remove these over time and just allow the database to
rebuild as you surf.
These are NOT images associated with a web browser but rather with the
AOl client program.
