 I have one of the 9000 series - which looks to be still being made
 - but few want to pay close to $600 list for a VHS.  BUt the NR,
 and TBC make even old tapes look good.  I don't agree about the
 6-hour mode looking that good however.   And I always used 2 hour
 mode unless I had to go longer.  So on JVC it is 6 hours.  I also
 noticed that older 4-hour tapes didn't look that good, because the
 JVC optimizes on head set for 2-hour and another for 6-hour.
