I recorded a 2 1/2 hour prog onto the hard disk of my Tevion DVR-955H with a view to copying it later to DVDs to give to a couple of friends who both
wanted copies. I forgot that the default rec quality was set (by me) to HQ.
The result is a file that's too big to fit on a DVD, even a dual layer
afaik. I can copy it onto a VHS cassette thru the AV connections, then back
again to DVD but the quality is poor. I don't have easy access to a second
DVD recorder. The Tevion doesn't seem to have an options to render downwards
the quality of the recording, or to chop it into smaller pieces.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any ideas?
