Hi all,
It's been a while since I've really looked around at places to download
music. After Napster, and kazaa and all those places became illegal to
download music, I started paying for it at iTunes, and MusicMatch.
Pretty much the same level of quality, none. I've paid for music that
when the software errored out for whatever reason I couldn't download
it (I ended up going rounds with Yahoo MusicMatch on this one), and
many other tracks "skip" sections of the songs when burned to CD or
listened to in MP3 format, not to mention the native format of these
files aren't supported by most MP3 players, and after converting them
to MP3 (if you can) the quality is majorly degraded.
My question is this. What's the best place to download music legally?
I see a lot of new mp3 download sites listed when I google for them,
but none of them I looked at will actually let you look at their
library, they all claim to have the biggest music collection, but I
don't want to pay for a membership to one of these sites if the only
thing you can download is millions of songs from artists in a small
town in South America that nobody will let play in a bar full of
drunken sailors, and they get fined when caught playing in their own
basements. Make sense?
So, I've notices some unlimited download sites with a monthly
subscription, and this is kind of the route I would like to go. MP3
format prefferably, good value, and something I don't have to worrry
about the software saying (you've reached your burn limit).
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!
