Payments and royalties for performers and "artists" have doubled and
tripled continuously for the past number of years. Tom Cruise is reported
to have bagged a nice $100 Million for the last "Mission Impossible"
release.
That's one hundred times the ***LIFETIME*** earnings of the average Joe,
for one freaking movie...
I'm sure that the producers and distributors are doing nicely as well.
THIS is the reason that braindead consumers will pay through the nose, and
keep paying and paying, and paying...
