Thanks, this was very helpful.
The G5 was automatically assigned an IP address, but I want to assign
it a specific one in the range as my PCs, so that we never accidentally
come in conflict with it.
My DSL router gives us internet connectivity. That feeds to an HP
ProCurve managed switch, and all my devices work off that.
If I follow your "1-5" above, how do I then assign it the number I want?
