I have just bought an HP Pavilion (P4 , ATI shared graphics, Windows
media OS) and it does not see my Cannon XL1s. It does see my cheep JVC
camcorder so the fire wire cable is OK. Further my laptop (Fujitsu
Siemens D Pentiun with ATI graphic card, windows home OS) does see the
Cannon. I think the problem is with the desktop. Is there some
motherboards that the XL1s do not work with?
