yeah but all of the sound isn't one bit, the more missing bits there
are the more the signal changes. Even with error correction that's
what it is Correction, there is still a change in sound. If you don't
believe me go find someone who works splicing fiber and ask them to
head a bad strand for you when the boss isn't looking. Now take it
home & test it with some audio you've heard a million times and know
by heart. However once you've heard the difference don't go out and
buy the insanely expensive cords all you need is a decent one as you
most likely won't be able to tell the difference unless the cord is
shit. Just avoid the bargain bin stuff.
