Lost XVid Audio Sync Error

Posted by tommylux on 10/04/06 12:40

Hi there, I have downloaded a series of XVid files (24 x 350mb AVI
episodes) and was hoping to put 5 episodes per DVD.

Easy, I thought, using Nero Vision Express, I burn all my projects as
an image file first, to ensure it is satisfactory before burning to
DVD. I noticed that there was major Audio Sync errors when completed.

I have tried many methods to overcome this:

1. Turn on High Encoding on Vision Express,
2. Selecting Stereo on Vision Express
3. Using Windows Movie Maker to convert files to WMV first (after
converting, the files are out of sync)
4. Updating the K-Lite Codec Pack to the latest media pack.
5. Tried AutoGordianKnot as suggested by other users to re-code them to
xvid, Also installed just xvid codecs and Lamemp3 codec. Still have the
Audio Sync Error.
6. Tried Audio Decompressor, which improved the problem but still no
good.

Come on guys, I know you can help me on this one. Someone suggested to
use Virtualdub but I am unsure how to use this, Could anyone spare a
few mins to describe how to use this?

Could anyone make a suggestion?

Thanks
Tom
