Hello,
Having given up in frustration using Pinnacle Studio to edit video, I
have been using Windows Movie Maker that came with XP. It does pretty
well what I want for now, until I can save up and get a more
sophisticated program.
However, I have noticed a rather annoying quirk. There is no facility
to burn the finished video to DVD. What I must do is copy it to miniDV
on the camcorder, then input that to my DVD recorder. However, there
appear "gaps" in the audio track - as many as 2 to 3 in a 3 minute
length. These gaps are about 1 second in length. If I copy using
S-Video and RCA for sound, the gaps are not as pronounced as with a
firewire connection, but they are still there.
The sound is fine when the video is copied to an MPEG file. Anyone with
similar experiences or suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
Denny
