What would change, in regard to the woman, were she to have been in a
state where the limit for statutory rape is set at 18 years of age.
Does guilt associated with intercourse suddenly shift? Isn't the law,
in such states, meant to protect the youth from sexual abuse by
adults?

I've had a couple Kiwi friends but neither was Maori, so I know next
to nothing of their cultural mores. However, regardless of one's
origins, the sins of the parents are not visited on the children.
Sadly, the children do often suffer from them though.
I'm at a loss, however, to understand how any of this tripe pertains
to the young woman's acting or her ability to portray a role as
directed? The vast majority of entertainment stars have meager
origins. Is there some sort of rampant desire to have them hacked
back down to the level of Peg Bundy by the Peg Bundys? Not that that
would be a bad thing, in the form of Katey Sagal ;-0)
