Did you finalise the DVDs in the recorder?

Video DVDs usually have 2 file systems on them, UDF and ISO9660.
If your discs have only UDF and PC2 doesn't have UDF reader installed that
would explain it.

Is PC1 XP and PC2 98 by any chance? 98 doesn't read UDF by default.

Isobuster http://www.isobuster.com/ will let tou see what is actually on the
disc.
