 That's the date code for units manufactured in February 2006. The
 other is G06 which is for August 2006 manufacture.

 I have the G06. Do not get the B06.
 
 Although I am still evaluating it, I like it for the price. It has a
 few quirks but I have gotten used to them. As long as you don't expect
 an $800 unit for $219, you will like it. If you don't, take it back
 for a full refund within 90 days of purchase.
 
 If you do like it, then go online and get a 3-year extended warranty
 for $23. Be sure to call the warranty company to place your order. You
