toshiba hd-e1 to launch in uk november
hd dvd is the only next gen dvd, so, cheaper to produce... why do we want
bluray at inflated prices? how can samsung say they will win the format war
when their bluray player is nearly twice the price of the toshiba hd-dvd
player... and what are they offering for the extra money??.. oh, I know... a
bit more disc space (needed to house the extra capacity used by inferior
mpeg 2 video codec), and 1080p, wow, how many people in the uk actually have
a 1080p screen!!
