Hello, I recently purchased a Coby Dvd-224 from Amazon.com, thinking
that I would be able to use one of the two known methods to switch the
player's region code to region 0. Unfortunately, the two ways I have
found to change the region do not work on my player. [These are 1)
Setup, volume+, volume-, volume+, volume-, change # to 255 or 2) Title,
1, 9, change # to desired region] Neither method results in a number
to change.
My thoughts are that the player I purchased is a new version of the
Coby DVD-224 model because my player is a Dvd-224S, not an Dvd-224M or
a plain old Dvd-224. Has anyone else recently purchased a Coby
Dvd-224S and successfully changed the region? Thanks for your help!
