I've also had a couple of "lifestyle survey" calls lately. When I pointed
out that they shouldn't be calling, one of them (rather self-satisfiedly, I
thought) said they were exempt, because they weren't selling anything. The
referee's whistle I picked up in a junk shop a few years ago has now found
itself back next to the phone. Odd, that....
