But I'd cloned data from burnt DVD disc to HDD and cleared the DVD disc
to store other information. So that's too late to discuss this for my
case.

I want to convert it to mpg file which occupy less space.

My problem is DVD data had been cloned on HDD. I want to convert
embedded TV programmes to mpg files. However, TSUNAMI couldn't read one
of them from title list so I need to use vob2mpg to do DVD to MPEG
conversion. The conversion couldn't complete because something wrong in
the original DVD VOB files --- when I played the "missed" programme it
windows media player (or windows media player classic) stopped (but
program not terminated) at some point. I'm asking for any DVD tools to
recover this video file.
