Correct. All that matters is that a digital '1' is registered as a
digital '1', and a digital '0' is registered as a digital '0'. And if
there's even a hint of ambiguity or wonky timing, the built-in error
correction fixes things, 100%. That's it. No super-duper materials
required, period.
