Video file needs to be converted to proper format for DVD. Nero is
not good for conversion. Check www.videohelp.com on guides for other
program that can convert faster than Nero, and they are free to use
plus links to free and shareware programs you may need.

Another factor: your PC. If it's fairly old, you may still be waiting
quite a while. My PC is 2.6GHz P4 and it generally takes about one
minute of processing for every minute of video.
