Abso-fuckin-lutely not!
Alcohol based cleaners are a no go for plastic, especially when used
in conjunction with a "towel".
Remember, that plastic surface is more than ten times softer than a
glass lens, and softer too than the fibers that make up the paper in
the paper towel.
They are not meant to EVER be touched. That is the whole idea. It
is an optical surface, but a VERY fragile one.
A smudged rental disc only means that some retarded twit fat
fingered the thing.
Just proves how careless the rental crowd is due to the fact that it
isn't their property.
