I wouldn't say that. What I would say is that it is impossible for artists,
no matter the medium, to monitor sites like Youtube and others, to insure
that their property remains unmolested. I've had images turn up in the most
unlikely places, and only found out because someone I know found them and
alerted me. This is the process most of us depend on to find out about
copyright infringement, which makes "hit and miss" look like deadly
accuracy...
