The trouble with all the slang is that it's so department-specific. If
you tell an American soundo that his Barney's in the shot he probably
won't know what you're talking about, but if you call it a blimp you'll
get the attention of both the soundo and the camera-o (?). Most people
seem to leave the fur softie on the rig indoors or out, these days, so
the somewhat-less-polite term "wookie d*ck" is getting more and more
common. So far as I know, there's nothing used by any of the other
departments that would be compared to the reproductive organ of a
wookie (Wookie?), at least on non-porn films.
All frivolity aside, sounds like no one's had any experience with the
Indian knock-off wookie d*ick? For less than 200 bones I'm just going
to go ahead and order one (it even includes the fur cover, for that
price) and I'll let y'all know how it goes when it gets here. The nice
lady from India claims it'll be here in 6-9 days, but it's coming from
INDIA, fer chrissakes, so I'm guessing sometime in January.
Still, $200... I don't mind waiting. How far wrong can you go for 200
bucks?
