Hello,
I have a problem. Recording from 22050 RealAudio source with Real7Time,
I had no other choice but to choose 44100 (no 22050 in the list, and as
I know, mp3 does'nt support 22050 Hz). But when I listen the result
file, everything is double speed. The problem is obvious, even the
developer mentioned in FAQ.
I know that I could convert the result file to the correct 44100 mp3
with two steps: Step 1. Open the file in a sound editor, tell it to
change sample rate to 20050, while not converting it, it will make the
file correct one with normal speed Step 2. Actually convert the sample
rate to 44100 and save it as an mp3.
But is there a more simple way? If I have an mp3 recording with
duration ~10 hours, I have ~ 600 mb file, but all the actions above
means that I have to temporary grant ~ 6 G of free space. I'd go with
some tricking of mp3 converstion software to tell it that input file is
double speed one and to convert it to the correct one, but could not
find the proper option at least for Lame. Does anybody know the
solution?
Thanks
Max
