Re: Best MP3 player for audiobooks?

Well folks, I ended up going with a Creative Labs Zen V Plus. I'll give it
to my wife for Christmas and see how it goes. We'll have a two day drive
home from visiting relatives over Christmas and if she doesn't bond with it
then, I'll return it and go with something else.

I ended up with the CL Zen for a couple reasons.

First, although I'll fight my way through conversion software etc, my wife
will not. My local library uses NetLibrary and Overdrive to provide
audiobooks. They also don't support iPods. We'll try those first before
going with subscription services such as Audiobooks. BTW I also noticed
Simply Audiobooks does not support iPods either. Has anyone used them and
how do they compare to Audible.com?

We're both NPR junkies and she may occasionally use the radio to listen to
that while on her bicycle or to pick up FM broadcasts of television programs
while working out at the gym.

Anyway I'll see how it goes and update if I end up returning the unit.
