I'll let you know as soon as it gets here. It's probably going to be a
nightmare getting it in hand, but that's not their fault. I'm leaving
for the holidays for 10 days or so, and there'll be no one at my
apartment building who can take delivery for me (long story), so...
figure it'll arrive about 30 seconds after I leave for the airport.
They'll stick a note on my door ("sorry we missed you - we'll try again
tomorrow!") and do the same the next day. By day three, I assume the
package either goes back to the sender (in INDIA, fer cryin' out loud)
or to the Island of Misfit Toys, never to be seen again.
If I ever _do_ get my grubby little mitts on it, though, I'll be sure
to send along my report. According to the photos, it looks to be about
the equivalent of a Rycote Windshield #4 kit, complete with the fur
cover. Rycote's sells for about $700; this one was $140 (plus $38
shipping).
