Sometimes though, it is difficult to tell, if you have a good dvd player
that upscales (i have a tvix that upscales ripped dvds from my server) it is
sometimes hard to tell the difference.
I have the 1080i version of Alien, and the ripped dvd of alien upscaled to
the same res... On my 50inch tv, the difference is not as easy to tell as
you might expect.
