While that's true, Microsoft's console, the 360, is selling well, as are
its games.
Sony's PS3 is not selling so well, and neither are its games.
Microsoft loses between $150-200 per 360.
Sony loses around $300 per PS3.
Win or lose, Microsoft still has its Windows and MSOffice products which
make more than Sony.
Sony has depended on the revenue from Playstation games to post profits.

Neither do they sell their hardware a loss to make up the money from
software sales.
