If NV4 = NeroVision 4, then yes - that is what I'm using.Or rather, trying to use.
 LOL - I can't even find the place where you set "Smart Encode",
 folks tell me you can set said option to prevent re-encoding - but
 I can't even find a place to set it.  There is an option button that
 does NOTHING when I push it.
 
 I simply shelved NeroVision 4 for now, and am concentrating
 on making Roxio 9 work as advertised.  I'm actually having
 a little luck here. Not nearly as buggy as Nero 7 stuff , but
 somewhat slow. Have not really gotten to Sony 7 yet.  LOL - if I can't
 find a way around having to render in DVD Architect 4.0 - I may not
 live long enough to see it complete ... ran 10 hours & I shut it down.
