Viacom's position would ring truer if they'd gone after YouTube when it was just
a "nothing" corporation instead of letting them air all the clips they wanted as
long as they didn't have much money - and then deciding to go after them when
somebody with big bucks bought the operation.
Clearly they own the material and it's there perogative... but it still smells
of lawyers and "deep pockets" to me.
