give me a break. the PS3 sucks at gaming? ZERO loading times through
entire levels of Resistance 'sucks at gaming'? butter smooth, tear free,
and perfectly antialiased framerates 'sucks at gaming'? what kind of
bizarro world are you living in? media center to my 360 is a such a joke
that I don't even bother using it anymore. after meticulously tagging all
of my song files for DAYS so that MP11 can figure out that song files in the
same album folder are actually a part of the same album (no need for this
with iTunes), and syncing to my 360, browsing those albums from my 360 takes
an ETERNITY. when I actually had the patience to navigate to an album that
I wanted to hear, continuously mixed songs can't even be streamed without a
gap. I guess that's too much to ask a 1gb/x4200 pc and a 512mb/tri-core3200
xbox to be able to do! giving up hope for MC/MCE, I resort to plugging my
iPod into my 360's usb port directly and guess what? it can't playback a
damn thing that's mp4, an industry standard file format, which is the
majority of my collection. at least my PS3 can play those same song files,
and it didn't even need a download.
once some more games come out (looks like June is when the floodgates are
opened for the PS3) and the price drops so that you can afford one, be sure
to post back here about how much you think the PS3 still sucks at gaming or
media. until then, try sticking to subjects you may know something about.
