And the X-Box would have to have an interface that ran close
to 700 gigaBITS/second.
That speed is typical of high-speed backbones with OC-768 data
rates [I'm in a colo that has that] but you'll be paying a LOT
for the equipment. Watchin an installer put up a new rack
for a large company running a loop around the state I asked
what she thought it might cost.
She said "I don't know but the one I installed in Miami last
week was $14 MILLION." That was a year ago so prices have come
down, but NOT that far.
