How much RAM? Hope you didn't buy the baseline job.

Also, brand matters as well.

Yep... puppy being the key word. Should have bought one of the big
dogs. I sit 6 feet from my 32".

Well mastered material like "King Kong", etc. Look good from the
standard DVD on an upconverting player, but the HD release is better.

No. Reg. old 4:3 sets at 640 x 480 are old, and grainy by the
standards of any discerning eye. It appears as if you may have
acquired such an eye.

Huh? What a lame assumption. My HD DVD feeds this monitor much
better than watching the material through the PC's drive.
