Trevor...you can read my thread I started on 3/20/07 about slow download
speeds and the shit I took from one of the regulars. I have found that
"Soulseek" is many times faster for whatever the reasons are and the
searches yield WAY MORE results. I was only getting 2-5 kbps with winmx
(sometimes it would be higher but not often), and Soulseek is usually 20-60
but never as low as 2-5 (very rare).
It's that simple - Soulseek has faster downloads (don't know why) - end of
discussion - regardless of all the "variable" bullshit.
Winmx is history...Pete
