Hi~
I am the "black sheep/tech monkey" in a family of exceptionally good
musicians. Let me tell you first that they would not put up with
 crappy played music
 ~
I am more of a software person and I would like to know how to DJ my
wedding with Linux, which I will also use to push Linux to my MAC and
 Windows friends ;-)
 ~
what do I need in order to do so?
 ~
Basically, I have a list of MP3 files, which I would like to play
either at certain specific moments or sequentially as a batch in a
 certain order
 ~
The music will be played out to loud speakers
 ~
Can a laptop or a PC based on Linux play out nicely to external loud
 speakers?
 ~
Which audio player do I need? Could XMMS do it? Maybe itunes for
 Linux or itunes-like something?
 ~
Would you suggest a nice PCI card to make the music sound really
 nice?
 ~
The person taking care of it should, say, only use the mouse and the
space bar, no actual CDs and extra complications in order to keep the
 dancing mobs happy
 ~
 Thanks
 lbrtchx
