Alan, I've narrowed it down that it's some setting in my router ( Linksys
BEFW11S4 ). I don't know when anything changed in that I used to be able to
query myself (so to speak). But if I use my dial up account or if I connect
directly to the modem then I can see me, list my shared files, and dolnload
from me - but as soon as I connect via the router I eventually get "no
resoponse from the host" when I try a whois and get "Finished Download List>
0 files ( 0 megs ) total" when I try to browse. Unfortunately if that's what
others see about me it looks like I'm not sharing.
The router is properly set up to allow the default UDP & TCP ports to allow
WinMX sharing and downloading. I'd appreciate any and all help you or anyone
can offer. Thanks
