Taken into account what you wrote above you can surely forget about any
redudnant windows installation (for - let's say - compability purposes in a
switch-to-Mac timeslot) and surely will find all equivalent, Mac software.
Unless you use specialized and unique software (for example AutoCAD) there's
no need to worry.
