I was wondering the same thing about buying in the States as shipping it
back paying import duties will still be less than buying in Treasure
Island.
The CS3 packages are selling for almost $-£ parity which does mean we
are effectively being asked to pay double the going rate for the
privilege of living in the UK.

Yet another BBC standardises on another NLE system story! They must
have standardised on at least three NLEs in the last 3 years! I though
they weren't allowed standardise on any one supplier for charter reasons.
John you make building a PC for editing sound sooo difficult.:) I think
the main culprit was Pinnacle who almost single handedly tarnished PCs
as an editing platform.
