Yea, I have had good luck with maxell and Khyper media. Memorex usualy
does ok too, but I have had the occational bad disk. I did have some
one shot disks from memorex that were bad though. Do not use office
depot brand. They will not record a second time.
On another note; I know that stand alone recorders finalize
automaticaly, but a computer based one my have different programing.
You might check any manuals you got with it.
