My reason is twofold.
1. I run an FTP and to just have every song sitting there in one big
folder, is really condusive to running a clean FTP. I like to give
the people who link to my ftp a clean easily searched ftp site. this
way they can download maybe 1 album only, etc
2. I am going to be putting these songs on a guy at works computer who
would NEVER be able to figure out what you said, so Im putting them by
folder, so he can play just one album, etc. Yes I know I can also
make playlists and have them link to one large directory, but again,
its for the look of it
I understand what you are saying and fully agree that your idea might
be easier and more functional, but on the HD it still doesnt look as
good.
