Can anyone help me transfer (copy) my itunes music from my desktop to
my laptop.
My desktop runs on windows 2000 and the laptop on windows xp. They
are not networked.
I have tried using my seagate external hard-drive and also my ipod
nano but no success. The file names transfer but not the actual
music, on every occassion I get an error message asking me to search
for the original music.
I tried copying the music from the itunes using its backup facility
but after spoiling 3 dvd disks that does not seem to work either.
I know that I can copy the music from the cds (my own) onto the laptop
but that will take ages as there are over 2000 tunes and each would
have to be converted to AAC format.
Any ideas, thank you.
