Note that you DON'T have to force prospective customers to set up a
PayPal account if you accept payment that way. They can still pay by
conventional credit card, which PayPal converts into a credit onto
your PayPal account. However (doubtless because PayPal would prefer
you to deal exclusively in their accounts), this is not flagged too
prominently on their payment pages, and 'somehow' often seems to
require a scroll down in order to see it.
I appreciate that Peter is looking for a website that offers the whole
package, but in my case I have used PayPal as the 'end-money section'
of my own (home-written) website, and it has been very successful. To
