I've got some audio clips in Vegas and I want to be able to vary the
sound levels within the clip.
For example, I've got music on the soundtrack, and I want to make the
music fade down when there is dialogue in the scene.
I can't seem to find out how to use the "audio rubberbands" that you
see in such programs as Premiere and Pro Tools. I see a way to do
simple automated fades at the beginning and end of the clip, but how
do you use the rubberbands to precisely alter the level of the sound
within a clip?
It would boggle my mind if you couldn't do this, given that Vegas
began as an audio-only program.
Any help is appreciated.
