Hi dadiOH! Yes, I have two drives, won't rip from either of
them. No one I know (or can get to here) has a computer, so I
can't try a friend's computer, but I do have my Win2K computer,
still (not set up here, but I can get it set up, hopefully) and
there should be one working optical drive on that one I could
try. The only problem is that not long before my last move, in
either February or March, the screen display turned pink on the
old computer (it wasn't online) and I don't know whether it's an
OS problem, a graphics card problem, or what.
But I can deal with looking at a pink screen for a little while
if the rest of the necessary components still work.
I just can't understand why the CD won't rip on this computer.
Thanks much - hope you're well!
G.
